Will Kelly-’Rude Boy’ fight make it to the UFC 95 telecast?

I’ve seen too many complaints to count when it comes to quality of the UFC 95 card. If it were a pay-per-view, based on name value, this would be a tough sell at $45. It’s not and for a free card, UFC 95 has some really intriguing fights. That includes many of the non-televised fights. For all the hype that Marcus Davis v. Chris Lytle got on the UFC 93, this Troy Mandaloniz-Paul Kelly should be touted as a similar slugfest. Neither of the 170-pounders is very good defensively and they absolutely don’t want to hit the ground:

"I see us as both scrappy guys, ready to bang. I’m a (expletive) maniac. You can punch me in the face with all your might, I’m going to keep coming forward at you."

Kelly laid down some pretty heavy trash-talk to the Daily Mirror entering the fight:

"I am going back to my old ways. I am going to drop him to the floor and split his head open."

Click to hear a very heated Mandaloniz (ESPNRadio1100 w/Cofield):

Kelly apparently called "Rude Boy" fat and lazy, and an amateur on the ground:

"He’s sitting there sayng he’s stronger than me, that my endurance is questionable, I’ve been getting fat sitting on the beach and that I’m no genius on the ground. My one submission loss is to a great jiu-jitsu practitioner, how did he lose his last fight?"

Kelly lost by submission via guillotine choke at UFC 89 to stand-up specialist Marcus Davis.

"I might just have to put him on his back and tap his out. If he thinks he’s safe just taking me down and ground and pounding me, I might take his arm home with me."

Kelly and Mandaloniz meet in the first fight of the night at UFC 95.
