White vlog 2: Rogan says fans are going to love Machida

The Dana White video crew (Elliot) shot what looks like hours of video on UFC 98 fight night from which the UFC produced four vlogs. There's a ton of video with White greeting fighters before and after their fights.

David Kaplan, who lost to George Roop, states his case for Fight of the Night saying he needs the money to get a nose job (1:55 mark Part 2). Dan Henderson lobbies on behalf of Krzysztof Soszynski for Knockout of the Night (3:16 mark Part 2). "The Polish Experiment" picked the wrong night to turn in a big KO. He was outdone later in the evening by Drew McFedries and then by Lyoto Machida, who got the $60,000 bonus.

White was clearly dazzled by "The Dragon" going into the postfight press conference and saying this may be the "Machida Era". It looks like he got that line from UFC color voice Joe Rogan in the cage (3:20 mark of the video above) immediately following the fight:

"How good is that [expletive]? How do you fight this," Rogan said leaning back to imitate Machida's fighting stance. "This is the Machida era, man. Nobody's gonna beat that guy for a long [expletive] time. You know how excited people are going to be? That's [expletive] Mortal Kombat. It's like out of a [expletive] movie. People love that."

There's a ton of celebrity appearances including Guy Ritchie, who sits cageside with White and is then seen prefight in the locker room with Machida. Ritchie tells Machida that he used to practice karate but stopped when those guys kept losing to jiu-jitsu fighters.

Former boxing heavyweight champ Mike Tyson greets White (0:41 mark Part 3). The plump Tyson actually looks embarrassed when White heaps praise upon him.
